It's been a rough fall for me as some of you know. I lost my best friend and constant companion in September, and now on New years eve, my dad died as well. It will be a rough few weeks ahead of us trying to deal with his loss, and taking care of his affairs.
I appreciate all the great folks here on this forum, who always are there to lend support to another member when the chips are down.
My dad will be greatly missed, but we take comfort in the fact that he was a born again Christian, and is now in Heaven with the rest of his family.
He went into the hospital on monday morning with some chest pains, but on Tuesday seemed to be his old self again. Yesterday he wasn't doing as well, and today he really slipped fast. By around 5:30 they were making plans to take him to ICU to better care for him. While they were shifting him from one bed to the other, he crashed and flatlined, and they were unable to revive him. He died about 6:00 pm.
Thanks for letting me vent once again.
