Choppin' Here, too!
Braves have a mix of seasoned veterans and some fine young players.
As is the case in any post-season series, you get the right two or three hitters hot,
they can carry a team. Braves have three or four guys capable of doing that. Even though
the bench is a little depleted by injuries, a couple of late-season pickups have really stepped up.

Recently watching an interview with Alabama Football legendary radio voice Eli Gold stated that baseball was the toughest sport to do live commentary......said the ball is actually in live play less than seven minutes an entire game.

I have had a warm spot for the Astros even when they were in the NL. My practice it to root for my division (NL Central) no matter who is representing it.

Besides, the Cards are a classy organization and their owners and the Reds owners are friends and do a lot to better both cities.

Lots of good teams in the playoffs. The winner will be the fans.

This week' Twins/Yankees series should be something to see. Both teams broke the all-time record for home runs in a season, Twins with 307, Yanks just a couple behind. Of course they say that pitching trumps hitting and pitching wins championships, which bodes well for Houston, I guess.
