She has a thrift shop or two that she occasionally stops at. She came home today with three pairs of brand new Wrangler jeans in my size that cost $2 each!
She said there's more and asked if I wanted a couple more.
Of course I said heck yeah! I've been know to abuse some jeans with tractor grease or battery acid before.

Suoer LIKES for Thrift Shops

SWMBO has discovered that $2 will often buy purses at thrift shops.
Some recent purchased were luxury brands in ANIB condition that had an original retail above $200.

My shopping is for premium quality cookware.
My choice is pots/skillets with a THICK BASE to insure even heating.
Often the purchases need use of Mother's Mag to remove burnt on grease.

Occasionally I can find some shirts at bargain price.

I'm a sucker for transistor radios. Tabletop, portable, no matter. As long as they more or less work. I have a super nice Realistic tabletop radio I got for $3. My most recent is a Motorola portable I got for $1.75 that needs a little work. It works off the cord but the battery connections are corroded a bit and it doesn't get a connection. I'm looking for a battery mount (holder) to replace it or, if not, I can replace the tiny little parts. That would just be harder.

I just donated DVDs for Seasons 6 through 9 of the old Perry Mason TV show to the Gettysburg Hospital Thrift Shop. Most of them were still in the cellophane. Somehow I got duplicates of them, so I took the duplicates to the thrift shop so it can benefit and some other Perry Mason fan can enjoy them.
