Revolver tactical advantages.1 a double action revolver is the only handgun you can truly fire ,dump empties,reload with one hand without the help of tools or spare magazines ect . Therefore the only true " hand " non plural gun.2 lay an auto and a revolver flat on a table and decide which is easier to pickup ( half asleep in the dark. 3 which would take the most time to explain to a mongun person how to load and fire from a completely empty situation ie no rounds in magazine. 4. In a wilderness situation which one would you be more likely to loose parts for while cleaning. Well I could go on but I won't and before you say yes but my auto will hold15 rounds first of all in a true self defense situation how many rounds are you truly and I mean aimed shots gonna need as a civilian if you get into a gunfight at the local mall you had better know where each round you fire is going the bad guys don't care but law abiding citizens better second if you were to get into a gunfight and have to go to court when the prosecutor says how many rounds were you carrying and you say well 15 in my gun and 45 more in my backup mags how is that gonna look ,it's gonna look like you were looking trouble and found it ,yes public perception counts big time if you have to defend yourself so tactical advantage in court goes to the old timey revolver .Non of these arguments count for lawenforcement or military applications but for a regular guy a revolver and the training to use it effectively and safely is a tactical advantage but what do I know I'm just an old man who carries a 32/20 most of the time and no I have no speed loaders just a few extra rounds in an old loop holder and I've only been in one gun fight well actually the other guy did all the shooting because when I got from under the car he was gone ( but I lived to tell the story) he went to prison eventually .
