The first gun is not a 1917. More correctly called a "455 Mark II Hand Ejector Second Model".
Usually, we just say "455-2nd".

So, Swissman-I gotta' ask. You have Korth and Manurhin .357 revolvers. What do you think of them compared to S&W revolvers? From a European point of view, please do a compare and contrast. Thanks.
 
It was a lazy sunday after a very busy week. Great chance to sharpening, completing and correcting the collection-pictures and load them up to photobucket. You can see the result at the page #1 of this thread.

That is an outstanding collection! I would be proud to own any one of those beautiful Smiths. I now must clean the drool off of my screen and keyboard as a 6 1/2" 24-3, and a 16-4 are all on my holy grail list of Smiths that I would love to find!
