an ode to old Joe Clark...

The warmth of the dawn greeted me early today... natures way of saying good morning, if you are up to the task.. today was a spectacle to behold... started the bacon and sausage, fired up the coffee and awaited the rest of the house to greet the day... the smell of bacon & coffee helps that along... the breakfast is finished and mostly cleaned up now.. the focus shifts to the the afternoon Easter feast... it will be diminished somewhat because our son was unable to join us because he had been under the weather... we will regroup on mother's day for a family feast then... hoping everyone finds the joy and peace that this Sabbath day has given to you...

I hope Leon approves of my attempt...
I, like many here miss his Sabbath ramblings.

That was a wonderful tribute you made. Happy Easter to everyone.

A while back Leon was given an old doghouse (upright) bass. The tenon neck joint had separated from the body splintering some wood off the heel block. He PM'd me for help and we embarked upon a stream of pleasant messaging. He finally made it playable.

Right behind faith, family and firearms was bluegrass.

If "humility" had a face it would look like Leon.
