i think i want to replace my gas block but have questions

been looking at my rifle a bit and love the changes ive made... but noticed its missing something a bit traditional...i think i want to get a factory a2 style gas block/front sight.... just the front of my gun looks too bare plus with the gas block thats on there is at a different plane then my quad rail and upper reciever so i thinks it gotta go anyways...

my questions are this.....

how do i get the old one off.....

am i even able to put a standard front sight back on?

where would a good place to get said gas block?

would i have to get a new gas tube?

if so how do i take that out lol...

and is this a redundant notion? lol

i just like that look that a standard front site has... if i was going for long range shooting, the gas block i have would be fine, but my gun is set up for close quarters and i just think its missing something... i have a detachable a2 style front sight for that rail but just doesnt look right to me
