Try to get them down to $400 or less., You can often do that at shows. Auction sites are high on prices.

I wouldn't pay over $450, at most. Keep in mind, too, that only M-60-'s suffixed -4 or higher are factory Rated for Plus P ammo.

The M-60-7 is what I'd look for, if you want a standard snub.

I believe any 60, from a no dash on up, can handle +P ammo with no problem.

What TX Star said, the auction sites are almost always very high, someone hoping to strike gold. I have even pauid a high price if it was for something I really wanted and could not find it elsewhere-a bird in the hand..................

I paid $500 for one

Earlier this year I bought a model 60-3, new in the box, for $500. I felt the price was fair.

Ive been in the market for a Model 60 myself bud, and to make maters worse the 60-10. I went with the .357mag rated 60-10, this way it was a bit more bulked up even though I was going to keep .38spl ammo in it.
Good luck in finding them, they are a bit on the rare side. Pre-lock model 60's are held onto.
each dash represents a barrel length, either 38spl or .357mag rated, and either fixed sights or target/adjustable.
My opinion is M60-10 has all the best to offer. .357mag rated, 3inch barrel, target sights. And as luck would have it I purchased it from a forum member. twomoons.
Good luck on the quest, just research and decide what are your parameters.
