I was the first to report about bigfoot

Well, only one sighted at a time. As far as I know, there's also only been one bigfoot sighted at a time . . .

I think by now you've noticed I'm firmly tong in cheek in this here thread.

You may also have noticed that I never said there was no BF.

One can never be sure.

I've seen bigfoot myself. He looked a lot like a normal man, only bigger. Very tall and quite fat, he held up a shoe and asked the salesman, "Do you have this in a size 16?"

"No," said the salesman.

Do you have anything in size 16?" quoth the bigfoot.

"No," was the reply. Whereupon bigfoot turned on his heel and left the premises.

You should look up the stories of Albert Ostman and of Ape Canyon. Both occurred in the 1920s.

Ostman claimed to have been held captive by a Bigfoot family of 4 in BC. And at Ape Canyon near Mt. St. Helens, a whole group of Bigfeet supposedly attacked a miners' cabin with rocks after one of the miners shot at one.

Ape Canyon took a hit during the eruption, but is still accessible. Nice hike. There is also an Ape Cave nearby, but the only apes I saw in there couldn't be responsible for the footprints or nighttime scares, because they wore flipflops and had flashlights ;)

The way some articles say the ones who shoot them the men in black show up and remove the body and the shooter is sworn to never mention it. On the other hand the risk an attack from the other bf. I'd walk away if I seen one.

I stuff a grill cheese with a burger, carmelized onions, sliced of bacon. It's awesome and a belly filler. But the smell of everything cooking will attract anything dead or alive.

Al Bundy was the salesman? Sorry I couldn't pass up my chance to claim some fame. Lol

Well, I've also read stories of men who found golden plates in a strange language and translated them by staring at a rock in a hat. Pics or it didn't happen (I think I've read that from you at some point . . . )

Have seen Bobcats, Bears, Deer, Moose, Elk, Antelope and lots of Coyotes.
But no Wolves or Mountain Lions.
Ok. I might have seen a wolf. Or it was a big wolf looking dog or mixed.
But never a Bigfoot.
So If he's out there, I may see it!
Or smell him.
He's reported to ignore his personal hygiene.

Sooo many stories, yet...

Not one single piece of evidence.

My dad, my grandpa, my uncle, and all their friends were all loggers. I never heard one story from any of them about BF.

Call me skeptical.

Now, I'm not saying that people haven't had bizarre, seemingly unexplainable experiences. In just about every state, too. But I'm skeptical that it's a big mythical creature.

I am a rather fact based person when it comes to stuff like this.
I wont go so far as to say absolutely no way BF exists.
But ya gotta wonder all the years cameras have existed and the explosion of cell phone cameras, Go-Pro's etc and NOBODY, NOBODy has managed a clear picture of even one. Then you think of all the trail cams that are on duty in the woods and once again, no definitive image.
No feces, hair or skeletal remains.
Hardest is to swallow is that no back woods goober or fame seeking hunter has not plugged one yet.

I cannot speak to the OP's experience, but I had one of my own.

When I was younger, much younger I was on a camp trip with a friend and two young ladies. I was out in the woods hiking by myself about a mile from the camp and road. Heard something in the brush and could not get a view of it. I got down to ground level and soon spotted two hairy legs. TWO!!!. I almost jumped out of my skin. I was a firm believer in BF in those days. Needless to say my adrenaline was in overdrive. I was struggling with staying and trying to get a good look at the beast or running for my life. Stupidity won out and I stilled myself and watched. About 30 seconds later a medium sized cinnamon phase black bear snuck out of the brush.
Why I never saw the other two legs I dont know. But imagination, adrenaline and a desire for them to be real combined to make an almost BF sighting. Me thinks a lot of them are fueled by the similar circumstance.

Hang in there OP! You may yet have the last laugh.

about 15 years ago one of the military women I worked with came back late from leave. It turns out she wrecked her car while driving on I-40 in New Mexico late at night. The reason she wrecked? An alien space craft landed on the road and she had to swerve to avoid it.

I don't know about you guys, but if an alien space craft landed on the freeway and caused me to crash, I'm going to lie and tell you a dog ran out in front of me and I crashed trying to avoid it.

Space it so huge that it's very likely to have other sentient life out there. Have they visited Earth? Meh, I don't know and haven't seen any proof that they have.

The pacific northwest is also very big, but not that big. If bigfoot were real, we'd have found some positive evidence by now and not just blurry photos and films. If we can find new species of spiders in the Amazon, we'd find a giant in the pacific northwest.

The terrain in the PNW is extremely rugged. Thousands of square miles where people don't go. If you wanted to not be found, that's where to do it.
