This is a scope I picked up in a box of assorted junk and I cannot identify it. It has a fluorescent green light pipe which produces a green cross in the field of view. I'd say it has about a 3X magnification (fixed) and about a 3" eye relief. It would mount on a Picatinny or Weaver rail. There is no identification or markings of any kind on it which I thought was unusual. So, does anyone have any idea what it is?

Trijicon always has a Bible verse ref'ed on the base of the scope (like John 3:15), so if it doesn't have that, then it' a copy...

Could well be a fake, with the total absence of markings - no John 3:15, no Made in China either. It has no provision for focus that I can discover, and at least to my eyes the image is a little fuzzy. The green cross (actually a cross with two shorter horizontal stadia lines below the main horizontal bar) stands out much more in low light than in full daylight.

I found lots of information about fake Chinese ACOGs on eBay. Seems like most of them are for use on airsoft or pellet guns.

The John 3:15 was removed from Trijicon ACOG's when our government decided that it's presence might be found insulting by Al Qaeda.
