I'd like to know who I'm talking to

Sammy here.
Comin' to ya alive and well from the "boosh" of southeastern Ahia.

S&W enthusiast, catfisherman, and fan of most things firearms related but leaning far more toward the older concepts i.e., blued steel and walnut and handloading.

I'm only in my current occupation because I'm too stupid to quit.
Here's a rather sloppy example, performed(?) in Paris a few years back:

THAT WAS ENJOYABLE!

I wouldn't sweat it, Snub. If'n folks are big inta interfamily marriage, ya gotta know that interracial couples are gonna be hard to warm up to.;)

Oh **** that's funny! My mom is from WV and is part Cherokee. Just like a lot of them folks up there. It's the Italian wife that has them all confused. :D:D:D

Doggone it, Sam. That's some fine stick work.

I recognized that sound right off...I had a car back in college that had that same beat:D

Great thread. Wish I could go shooting with all of you guys.

I'm 34, born and raised in North Carolina. My dad first took me shooting at 13. But I didn't start to really love and appreciate guns until I was old enough to buy one of my own (a Ruger 10/22).

A lot of us younger guys mostly prefer the auto's, but I am a revolver guy all the way. In my 20s I bought a S&W model 67, and something about all the steel and metal parts, and smoke coming from the cylinder sides while shooting just did it for me. I appreciate Smith & Wesson, Ruger, and Colt revolvers and now own several of my own. Single and double actions, I love them both.

I had worked in security for some years and today have an office job as a graphic designer. Still looking for a pretty wife (who will also like guns) and hopefully have some kids down the road.

I'm Laura, an almost 40-ish musician, music teacher, and music minister.

Been married to Eddie for over 20 years, we have 3 daughters--17, 15, and 12. The oldest has signed up to join the USMC and leaves in July. She will turn 18 at Paris Island.

I like handguns. A LOT.

We have cats.

I read, voraciously. I read the ancient philosophers and trashy novels while soaking in the tub.

I prefer dry reds to sweet whites, and I won't say no to a beer. Vodka is good but tequila is liquid pain.

I enjoy cooking. I enjoy it more when it turns out edible.

Fast witted and fast tempered. The wit stays but the temper also cools quickly.

I've had a hard life--I decided not to let it make me a hard person. In this cruel world I find it takes much more strength to be gentle, kind and loving than to be bitter and jaded. Based on that principle, therefore, you can rightly assume that I am one of the strongest person you will ever meet. But do not, and I mean do NOT EVER mess with me or mine.

I am carpriver I currently live Michigan, I am from a place FAR,FAR FAR away. I am retired, have been for a year. I like rifles, handguns, and reloading and pick up trucks.

me? well I'm a Dapper Dan myself. never really liked FOP very much.

Folks call me Ski. I'm 27 and just got married in September. I'm a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force Reserve. I served as an AC-130U gunner while in the active Air Force. I did a tour in Iraq and two in Afghanistan. I re enlisted in the Reserve and now I'm a C-5 loadmaster.

In the civi world I own my own HVACR business. I live on 164 acres of PA woodland with my wife, dog, and cat. I'm an outdoors guy.. I enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, and of course shooting. I'm mostly into handguns but also enjoy long guns, most of which have been passed down through the family.

I'm more of a burnt sienna and she's got that olive tone. She gets a tan in the summer and I'm dark year round.
That's her with a freshly built target holder in my workshop.

I have been interested in firearms most of my life, but have really only begun to collect in ernest the past 5 or 6 years. S&W K & N frames for me. I have become partial to 4" N frames that start with .44 or .45. Also interested in those self loaders. Recently aquiring WWI - WWII American Milsurps.

I've been a NRA instructor and RSO for about 4 years and lend that talent to the pistol club I belong to.

Hobbies have been small boat sailing, CW living history & British sports cars.

I'll be turning 66 in about a month and a half and thinking of retiring from fulltime work at the end of the year.

Hi all; 59 yrs young. I have 2 adult children and 5 grandchildren. Had a gun in my hands since I was about 8. The mother of my children left after 20 yrs, in 97 I signed up for my 2nd life term. Nobody in her family had anything to do with guns. Have had a few heated discusions about gun buying. My wife now has her CPL and a 38 revolver. My wife has a daughter 30ish so I have a stepdaughter also. We are both retired and loving it. Jerry in MI.

I hope pineapple shooter sees this and gets my response to bettis1's post. I'm whiter than white and my wife is even whiter being a German girl. The Cherokee is long ago in my genes and I don't claim to have high cheek bones.
