I'd suggest that you buy your ammo, if you need it, ASAP....

I don't necessarily disagree BUT there are -IMO- equivalent or better options that don't come at the cost of a Remington or W-W branded box. Will they raise their prices to follow - very possible but I'd wait and see. Just my $0.02!
The little issues with Russia has an impact on the components so IF that wound down things might not be so grim.
Additionally, if you're paying $50 for a W-W product with any frequency would the increase REALLY bother you? If you're using 100 rounds per week perhaps but if it's a box/month?
Only time will tell but I personally won't get in to a panic buying mode.
BTW - I would need a fork lift!!😊😊

Forklift implies you got a lot of extra room which many people do not. Plus a climate controlled area to store it in as high temps, damp, etc. are not so good for long term storage. Most can store a lot but not tons. I guess you could store some with relatives if they got the room and are accommodating to the idea.

My opinion has and will always be, buy what you can, while you can, as long as you are not taking food off your family's table. No matter WHO is in the WH, we never know or can predict what the ammo situation going forward will be.

If the sale of Vista Outdoor has gone through or is likely to go through in the near future, the only major domestic ammo maker left will be Winchester. That means we will be at the mercy of foreign ownership as to what he prices and availability will be.

Be realistic with yourself! Don't buy two or three lifetime supplies! Buy what you will realistically use for the foreseeable future and maybe a slight bit extra. Have enough carry ammo on hand that you can rotate the ammo in your gun and magazine every year or so and shoot out the old stuff.

Here in Woke Colorado, They just passed a 6.5% tax increase effective in April 25 on all gun related purchases as well as some other radical and ridiculous anti gun laws.

DON’T FALL FOR IT

It’s because of emotional panic buying that ammo manufacturers, big box stores, and online retailers feel absolved of any responsibility for gouging the public to the maximum level possible.
These people are NOT your friends. The firearms industry in America is no longer run by enthusiasts that decided to make their passion their profession. It is run by conglomerates with diversified holdings looking strictly at profit.

Don’t fall for it!

Make them sit on their inventory. They will start to sweat if they aren’t moving product by year’s end.

Invest your money instead. The potential for capital gains right now far outweighs the potential price increases.

Cool heads prevail!!

Even though I’m a .45 ACP guy, we all know the best deals are on the current military calibers, 9mm & 5.56mm so that’s what I’ve been buying lately. Practice ammo as well as self-defense ammo. I don’t have anywhere near a pallet load but I’m making a good start at it, without going into debt.

I’ve been shooting and buying.
I’ll just keep on shooting and speed up the buying.
I don’t really need a forklift, maybe a refrigerator dolly.
Hold on - I have one of those!
