ID this .38. Heavy Duty?

Pretty sure the trigger was case hardened. Hammer is nickel plated but not original to gun.

Thoughts on value?

I'll take a shot since nobody responded. I would say probably about what you have in it. It's value is as a shooter because of the condition, which is decent. If it were to auction on GB I would guess somewhere around $500. It would be a shooter or a fun but unprofitable restoration project.

You're probably right. There's a similar one on GB right now that was recently listed - that would be a good comparison to watch and it's a straight auction.
