First two revolvers. Model#64-6 serial# CET2222, square butt, thicker barrel, spurless hammer, fixed sights.

Also a Model#67-1, Serial#AJT0064, round butt, thinner barrel, standard hammer, adjustable rear sight.

Would like the year of manufacture for each and anything else anyone could tell me.

Also should I be able to use +P in the 67-1?

Your Model 64-6 was in production from 1998 to 2002. CET2222 was probably shipped between October 2000 and July 2001.

Your Model 67-1 was in production, generally, from 1971 to 1988. If the barrel was pinned, that narrows it down more; pinned means 1977-1982, pin deleted means 1982-1988. More specifically, AJT0064 was probably made between July and Nov. 1985.

Yes, you can safely use Plus-P ammunition in both guns without worry.

What do you want to know about them? The Model 64 is the stainless steel version of the Model 10 Military & Police, which is chrome moly steel finished in blue or Nickel.

The Model 67 is the stainless steel version of the Model 15 Combat Masterpiece, which also has a blue or nickel finish.

Both guns were very widely used in U.S. law enforcement before semiautos took over in the middle 1980's. They are excellent handguns for many purposes.

Thanks Buff for the thorough reply. I would of thought the 67 was the newer of the two by the model number. The 64 is in pretty good shape except that it would not fire when I received it and had to be cleaned and lubed to function. The 67 is pretty loose in the cylinder both when open which is very loose and when closed as well. Range smith said it was beyond him and referred me to someone that is quite a drive away and I have not got it there yet. I don't feel it was in the very good plus condition as the 64 was. I did not fire the guns until well after J&G's 30 day return policy. So after contacting them they would only go the 30 days.
Initially got some yoke bearings for the 67 from Midway and there was no way these were going to fit, od was much too large and they were less helpful when I contacted them about it. Would be hesitant to deal with either again.
As far as the pinned barrel on the 67 it is unpinned.
Do you have an opinion on the Fobus paddle holters for these guns? Would like to do some defensive training.
