Hello, I have a S&W 6 shot .22 revolver with a 6-8" barrel. It has a serial # of K607***. I bought it used from a police officer back in 1982. Anyone have any idea of what model # it might be and the possible value? It has a little bluing wear but otherwise in good shape. Thank you for any information any of you might be able to give me.

Sounds like a M17 K-22. Barrel should be 6".
Value would be about $650.
Catalog dates it to 1965.

Welcome to the Forum,
You have a K frame target revolver, probably a K22 Masterpiece. Pic's would confirm the I.D. The serial# dates to about 1965. Without more info, that's all I can tell you.
