I haven't been able to locate any official rules for PPC equipment requirements, but am I safe in assuming that any holster approved for IDPA SSR class would also be ok for PPC Service class?
What about front sight blades? Interchangeable ok for PPC as long as it remains a notch and post sighting system?
Are Safariland 333 speedloader holders ok for IDPA? I don't know if they'd be considered "designed for concealed carry" and they "cover the full diameter" but not necessarily the "body of the speedloader".
I'm obviously trying to choose equipment that will qualify for both PPC now and IDPA when I can get started with that.

Thanks,
Ric

The Safariland 002 holster is good for PPC Service Revolver and the current Safariland auto holster, I believe it is the 012 or 013, is good for the Service Auto. About the only stock front sight not OK is any that are adjustable. Of course, no sight ribs. Don't know about the IDPA Rules for speedloader holders.

Been a while since I shot PPC, but as I recall, any regular post front sight is ok.

The Safariland 333 speedloader carrier is specifically NOT allowed by IDPA.
I was there when Ken Hackthorn said the carrier made by The Bear with 333 cups on a two-place leather backer would be THE thing to have. But that was before the 2005 rule book.

I use the Ready Tactical but it is made for a 1 1/2" belt, which is not workable for a 2 1/4" duty belt.

Ready Tactical

It figures that the Safariland 333 carriers aren't allowed since I've got 2 of 'em. I'll worry about that next year because I'm not likely to try out any IDPA shooting before then. The Ready Tactical holster looks like it could work for PPC service too so I'll put that on my holsters of interest list.
Thanks for the info.
