for defense and general woods work I think any of these to be just fine... 25-5,28,29

although a brace of 6 inch 28's and a 6"57 reside here somewhere too ...

I don't think you'd be disarmed with a N frame. It'd be hard to put in the front pocket of your jeans, but except from that with a little ingenuiety you could conceal it with just a size larger T shirt. Thanks Frank

If I was forced to give up all but one gun, it would be this Model 58.

We've seen the elephant more than once and we're still here.

Hey boys, there is a new toy on the block... crimson trace.... Love 'em!

I carried this one every day, before revolvers were relegated to antique status:

Well! I didn't think my nightstand guns would get 2000 looks and 50 posts!

Thanks!!! And we love our N frames for sure.

By the way, those two aren't the only ones I own.

This is my favorite revolver anyway . . . a non-stock, chopped barrel 25-2 that is one sweet shooting .45ACP revolver . . . with the slickest custom double action pull I've ever encountered. The trigger is narrowed, rounded and smoothed for double action work. I've won a bunch of handgun matches with this wheelgun!

It is the last handgun I'd ever give up. I like it that much.

It makes a great self defense gun in the house . . . AND in the car (note the various .45ACP loads in my holder of car ammo, for various types of targets that might present themselves):

Gotta think ahead about them things, you know! Every engraved gun I got is gonna get some using from here on out, been sittin' on them to long. It's time to enjoy. IMHO

Hey Dave, just bypass the wife's next old man and put me in your will

op "
I know these aren't as "tactical" as a Glock or Kimber but a Mod 25-2 in .45 ACP or a Mod 27-2 in .357 Mag wouldn't leave you "underguned' in case of emergency now would it? "

A man defending his castle with an N frame would most likely place his first round in a very bad place for someone to get over....second would most likely finish the job if the first one didn't. Guess all that "tactical" stuff goes out the window. I have a dead-on-accurate 29-2 that should do the trick if I had to choose one N frame. Nice pics, Sabre. Lots of nice pics and N frames here. The 686+ would be nice to have if six rounds had been fired, too. "Did I fire five rounds or six rounds(heh heh)?

I'd rather have an N-Frame than the Glocks discussed over in the lounge.

I like the looks of this one...

...and this one has an easy time of busting grapefruit at 25 yards...

...I'm also partial to this one...

...this one is similar to the one above, just a different color...

...might have to save this one till the very end though...
