If an N frame was all you had ...

If I had to reduce my collection to just one N frame I'd keep this one.My 5 screw .44 magnum, circa 1957.

I could be very happy with my 22-4 Classic that wears a set of Grashorns Magna Elk grips.

Only two N frames I have at the moment are a 625-6 Mountain Gun and 25-13 Mountain Gun, both in 45LC, and I don't feel undergunned with either one. In fact either of them will probably be used as carry guns now that the weather allows me to wear a heavier coat.

Now if I can just afford to get a 44Sp to add to the collection.

One N frame huh, well I'll try:
A 25-5?

Or should I choose one of the 27s?

Or should I choose on of my stainless 629s with their weather risistance finish?

I'm a Senior Deputy and was having trouble handling 1911 jams so started carrying a 25-14 Lew Horton 3" barreled N frame. I qualify and carry it on duty. I can give 1911 users a run for their money on quick reloads using RIMZ speed clips. I get a lot of attention during qualifications. I can shoot .45Rim or Auto with clips.
It's a good one!

Alright I picked this one up over the weekend.
A mid 70's 25-5 that is tighter than my pre-28.

Guess this makes 4 N's

If I could only have one N frame it would be one I don't have, a 5" gun and it would be blue. The caliber is up in the air a little, especially if both my wife and I used the gun. I would probably go for a .44 mag, but the .357 is a possibility.
