If we all stopped buying new foreign made firearms...

There are TONS of guns that come from other countries that we as a gun community love and own. The problem is that the import laws are already too strict because there are MANY guns that we simply can't have or are in limited supply which does nothing but drive the price up. To further restrict import laws would be detrimental to say the least. I love the USA as much as the next guy, but if we were limited to only guns that were made in the US it would be a sad day.

And let's not forget that our beloved American made S&W didn't add that lock because the consumer and gun community wanted it.

" No thanks.

Arms, whether they're made here or elsewhere, sold here or elsewhere, are necessary for people to defend their liberty and freedom around the globe. The more manufactures and trade the better.

Little trip down memory lane...

1989- Permanent ban on foreign-made 'assault weapons'.
Then
1994- Ban on US 'assault weapons' sales.

Why do gun owners want to feed into the gun-grabbers model voluntarily?"

And let that be the last word.. Thank you all for your opinions and thoughts..
