Not so long ago I had a great house(mostly paid for)a cute,but perpetually drunk wife,two great kids,half a dozen nice cars,little debt,a business I was burned out on and this was my theme song.

I am tired of staying home! I love to travel
Hopefully will be On the Road Again to see Willie again in August.
I'm with you sister! For a long time we have used recordings of that song to start each days travel when we go on vacation.

I've got a tour booked with my eldest daughter and eldest granddaughter that should have been happening right now with Gate One Travel. We were given a company travel credit, but who knows when or if.

When I was diagnosed with a degenerative peripheral motor condition, I had the choice of either sitting in an electric scooty chair or doing everything I could to fight it.

A coupla songs came to mind.

Like my signature line says;

JB's "Changes in Latitudes..." was a very close second, but this is the one I more closely identify with. Now, I know the boondocks in the song are in the south, but I was raised in a logging camp on an island in SE Alaska, and I think that qualifies![ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skAOb_EUE_M[/ame]
