Being clearly ignorant of S&W revolvers beyond my own Model 10, that a "10-5" has been "Mis-matched" (SIC) as a 15-3 (or is it a "15-3" "Mis-matched" ((SIC)) as a "10-5"?) should certainly be of interest to those who regularly cruise this side of the forum (I tend toward the "upstart" side: semi-automatics). Nevertheless, back to the topic at hand, a chap on GunBroker.com is advertising for sale an "LNIB" (or was it an "NIB?") something marked something else.
Though certainly a Smith & Wesson, I must admit it doesn't look a whole lot like my own Mod. 10, but who knows? You do! Go to S & W 10-5/Stamped 15-3/ LNIB/Excellent : Revolvers at GunBroker.com so as to score this unusual find.
In the meantime, I gotta go check out the same seller's "99.9%" 39-2.
