One of the biggest grocery stores in Iowa is Hy-Vee. They also have gas stations. They partner with Caseys convenience store for gas discounts. When you buy groceries many items have a set discount on gas. You can build them up and use them when you buy gas. Just bought a little over a hundred bucks worth of groceries. I now have $2.82 cents off!
Gonna go fill up the Crown Vic and the mowers gas can......for free!!!!
Wish the Crown Vic had a bigger tank.

Its built into the price of groceries there's nothing for free. In fact they make out as lot of customers will only fill up or top off their tanks and not bring spare gas containers. Here in Ohio the Giant Eagle has the same program I would much rather have lower grocery prices and buy my gas at arms length. Their discount is for up to 30 gallons so I have to fill 3 five gallon containers in addition to my vehicle.

Limit was 20 gallons. Put about 5 in the can and 16 in the Crown Vic. Saved over $52.00.

Gas discount

Wow Jim, I've had 90 cnts to a dollar off accumulated at one time but nothing like that! I shop HyVee anyway so the savings help, we fill the wife's car at Casey's with the HyVee card so it works for us. I fill my pickup at a locally owned station near my shop. I doubt I would change grocery stores for the savings if I didn't already shop there.
