I'm in Texas for the USGP and I wandered into Cabela's

Staying in Buda Tx, first F1 race of my life, enjoyed Friday's event immensely. I saw this 10-5 in the case on Thursday, I didn't ask to see it, I tried to forget about it, well I couldn't. Late yesterday I looked it over and it is on it's way to my local Cabela's. It is very clean and tight. I got a 5% discount for a price of $665.00. I don't have my Standard Catalog with me, so I'm guessing 1967 to 1970 time frame. For some reason buying a gun in Texas just seemed like the right thing to do :).

Nice looking gun! I have one similar, but it's a pre-Model 10 (for lack of a better description).

I have a strong urge to talk like Humphrey Bogart when I shoot mine. :D

Some here who know me might suspect I have a liking for short barrel K-frames...I need to detour through Buda on my next drive west of here......Ben

The C prefix spanned a lot of years, but that SN puts it right at the tail end of the run. 66-67.

Has there ever been a 2 or 2-1/2" N-frame? Not a Performance Center piece, but a standard production piece.

I've seen 3" Model 24 pics before, so I know those exist. I just lust something fierce over a snubbie N-frame. I'm funny that way. :D
