I get where you are coming from, that you were raised not to air dirty family laundry in public. However, Web forums are a good place to vent anonymously.

Don't play the game, let the lawyer deal with things. If they are on the phone, HANG UP! Not worth the stress. If you do speak, keep it civil as most people can record conversations now. Keep your own house clean & CPS will have nothing. Good luck. You could change your phone #'s & all that. A state or several buffer zone can be a good thing.

Newsflash... EVERY family has disfunction. Mine?... Yup. My wife's family also. I try to stay prayed up. Seriously I do.

I, too, am beginning to dislike your family. If you want to feel better, come to Atlanta and I will drive you to Florida to meet my S-I-L. That should make you feel better.

Make police reports, as many as it takes. You DO NOT want Family Services or what ever it is called in your state, involved in your life. I went to visit my kids, only to find out that I was being investigated for allegedly molesting my children. It took a few weeks, but it turned out that my exe's new husband was the offender. I was to ready to go all Carlos Hathcock on him, but my lieutenant at the PD and the department chaplain convinced me I could do more for my kids on the outside of the bars than inside.

Most states have self help forms to file for restraining orders for family situations such as this. Utilize them. You don't need a lawyer to do these in most instances..
What I have done in situations like this is to send a "lawyer letter" documenting the issues, contacts etc. and telling sister (in proper legal terms) to BTFO and have no contact whatsoever in any kind shape or form or she will have to scramble to hire her own lawyer to defend against the restraining order that will be filed against her. That works in 99.999% of the time and will be the best money you ever spent.
Oh....and listen to your lawyer
