I'm Saving This Roll for Last!

...good old mom changing the roll...

...also showing that you should only touch your face with toilet paper during the pandemic...

...seems to also be indicating that TP makes lousy paper airplanes...

I am willing to pay a small fortune for a birth year roll in unused condition. If I find one, should it be a bathroom cabinet queen or should I use it because it was made to be used? Will using it decrease the value much? I am more of a user than a collector so I am inclined to go ahead and use it.

I don't have the box.

I remember when I was a kid, my mother favored pastel-colored TP, but that was long ago. Is colored TP still sold in supermarkets? I don't remember seeing any. My now-departed M-I-L always insisted on Scott's TP, the kind with an individual outer wrapper and sold only in single rolls. We always had to keep several rolls for her to use.

Tough call. You will have to decide what your money is worth. At your age, an unused birth year roll is likely quite rare, and in this era of high demand, it is likely quite valuable. Using it will be pleasant, but it won't last very long, so the cost versus enjoyment will be very high.

Yes, substantially. For any portion that you use, the value really goes down the tube. ;)

Maybe, if you give it a good cleaning after using it, you can preserve some of the value.
I've never tried it, so I can't say for sure.
Let us know how that works out for ya, BUT- NO pics, please.

If I look hard I think I can find some C-rat TP packets. What are my bids? Do I here $20...….
