I'm trying to date my older Hand Ejector...

I have a blued, 5-screw Hand-Ejector in .38 Cal. Special with a 6" barrel and fixed sights.

I initially described this a "Four-Screw", only to find the 5th screw behind the grip. (DOH!)

The butt is square, and the serial number is 25XXX
NOTE: There is NO letter in front of the 5 digit serial number.

Can anyone help me ID the approx. age of this piece (now that I've finally figured out how many screws there are)?

Welcome to the Forum.

Yours is actually a five screw revolver. The fifth screw is under the right grip. BTW, those grips are post WW II, while the revolver is post WW I.
