The 99 degree temp outside meant that working on the old car in the garage would have to wait, so i made a trip to the local Scheels. Saw a 610 in the case and about passed out...and the salesman said that it was put up for sale just this morning. It's the 6 1/2" 'no dash' model to be exact. Original box, Combat stocks, and a whole lot of moonclips. Won't have it home for another 3 days, but here's a lousy cell phone pic to gawk at. Brought the box home so as not to worry about it being lost or damaged.

$1300 ($50 off the tag)...not the deal of the century, but cheaper than the GB going rate.

Very nice revolver! The price is very good indeed. I own a no dash 5 inch 610 and its one of my favorite revolvers.

Very Nice. I'll bet there'll be no more complaining about 99 degree days.

Thanks a lot, everyone!!

Picked up the 610 a while ago...just posting a few pics. It has the expected normal wear, but the Combats look as though they were never on the gun when it was used, they will be replaced with Pachmayr Diamond Pro Series grips. I added a pic of the 3 7/8" 610-2 with the same Pachs. I love the quick change front sight on the -2...wish they all had 'em...but I'm not complaining. Now to find a woods holster.
