Today is the day we remember and honor all veterans who ever served, but most of us still hold that special place in our hearts and minds for "absent comrades".

In my case, SP 5 Charles Mathew Dutton, farm boy from Wellsville, New York, high school mate, hunting companion, very good friend. Huey (slick) door gunner with B Co, 123rd AVN Bn, 16th AVN Group, Americal Div. Shot down and died Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam April 8, 1968....age 22.

Panel 48E, line 52 on the Wall.

You are gone to us Charlie.....but NEVER forgotten!

RIP
