Not really a 9mm guy but have 2 year old m&p 4" compact with a dot optic figureing at my age I may need a dot optic or a softer shooting 9mm carry handgun . I have lost a lot of weight over the last year and figured I would try an apendix holster but needed a little thin lighter handgun for appendix carry an picked up a hellcat pro comp and its proven reliable and accurate too .

Lots of other handguns have come and over my young years but I have never owned a problem handgun . I carry a m&p 4.25 in 40sw as my edc and its some where around a 2008 purchase for CC needs but I have taken deer and hogs with it that showed up under or near my hunting stand .

It's my first and only pistol (Glock 17 GEN 5), but when I see how it shoots (pic from this morning at 25 meters / 27,3 yards), I don't know why I would spend more $ for something less reliable...I like it so much that I'm considering getting another one (G19 or G26, don't know yet). I'm new to the shooting world, but if I had listened to what many people say/write (awful trigger, you can't hit anything with a stock glock,...), I would have missed this beauty!

That says more about those “many people” than it does a stock Glock. While I don’t much like the Glock grip angle, that doesn’t mean I can’t shoot it well when I allow for that.
