In search of an apex sear actuator, or fix

I just bought my first full sized m&p 4.25 after carrying my shield daily and using it in a few competitions. I bought a Leo trade in with the curved trigger, and found someone selling a used apex trigger kit that they never installed. It was missing the sear actuator, but I didn’t think it would be a big deal to find. Well it turns out that A, the flat trigger won’t work without it and B, apex doesn’t sell them separately and wouldn’t sell me one. So now I’m looking all over trying to find it. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks

Good luck. I can confirm that it won’t work without it.. and I can also confirm stock or other aftermarket triggers will not work with the Apex Sear actuator… don’t ask me how I know that one.

If it were me, I’d find out if the seller would take it back since it was an incomplete kit…

Thanks, and yeah I tried it out, and it didn’t work. But this is on me, the seller told me it was incomplete and might not work and I took the gamble.

Are you sure it was for 2.0? Does the trigger bar have the small loop on it?

Not sure how well it would work (if at all) but here's a OEM one.

Or you could try using your existing one.
So I tried using my current oem one, but apparently the apex trigger shoe pulls the whole bar forward and doesn’t let it engage with the actuator without their proprietary one which has a small piece that protrudes to bridge that space. And I saw that eom one on eBay and messaged with the seller, freestone armory, to see if he could get one for me but he told me apex doesn’t sell individual parts to him

Just for clarity… did you ask Apex directly if they’d sell you the sear cam, or…the seller from EBay?
Apex customer service is pretty good. If you’ve asked them directly…not sure your options.
I’m sure you know this, but this is what you need. I swapped an Apex kit to an Overwatch and totally forgot this was on the pistol…and it wouldn’t fire…. I had to look through my parts bags to realize I had the stocker in the bag.
Assuming you have a forward assist trigger kit, that cam is what sets the action forward.
