Does anyone "stock" iwp reinforced holsters for J frames? Everyone I have contacted is anywhere from six to sixteen weeks out. Pick up my 649 tomorrow. For such a popular firearm I'da thunk there would be more out there.

I would contact Kramerleather.com and see if they have any. Otherwise I would check with the major makers, local shops, eBay etc.
This type of holster is not a cheap holster design and doesn't show up as often as a cordura nylon would. I just bought a DeSantis IWB no retention strap for a J frame in a local pawn shop for $7.00 in GREAT condition.

I would simply do a Google search for "holster and S&W 649" and see what comes up. You'd be surprised how many good holsters there are for sale once you start looking.

Went ahead, bit the bullet and ordered another one from Side Guard Holsters. Only 8 to 9 weeks out. ;(
I got a nice one from him for my 686 so,.....I'll just have to wait.

Bell Charter Oak has the Chicago Rocker w/a reinforced band around the mouth of the holster. I noticed that you can order it as an expressed, not exactly sure what that means though. They are a vendor here, I have several of theirs with good luck.

I ordered a holster from Side Guard and really liked the holster. It was a great product and the owner (Eric?) did a good job of communicating with me both before and after the purchase. I ended up not using IWB for my 642 at this time and sold mine to a buddy who got a deal on a great holster. I think you'll be pleased.
Yes, Eric is a good guy, and put up with me making several changes after the initial order for my 686. I did find a Galco that'll get me by for the time being and also ordered another one from Galco, the ultra deep conceal holster. Like all my revolvers, they need more than one pair of shoes to wear to the dance.
And looking at Bell Charter Oaks site, a two week turnaround isn't bad either. They have some nice looking stuff there, thank you! One more to try out!

My S&W 640-1 is holstered by a Galco King Tuk IWB that I stumbled upon at Cabela's. Works very well so browse your local Cabela's, Sportsman Warehouse, etc... and they might just have something for you there.

I would also give a plug to Tommy over at Theisholsters.com. He makes one similar to the CB Supertuck/ King Tuk. I've got one for my G19 and love it. Tommy shipped mine in less than one week. He personally answers the phone or any email or text. He's a one man shop right now, but with the quality of his stuff, I anticipate it won't be that way very long.
