Finally broke down and shot my Nov. '77 27-2 6" Full Target Model
& man, was it sweet. Imo, those '70's 6" 3T 27-2 's are just perfection. & I do feel that besides the factory test rounds, this was probably the 1st round ever put thru this gun. & she was dead on!
I shot this from 7 yards, hind legs with Winny White Box .38 special
Now, after the 1st shot by myself, my 13 year old daughter fired the next 11 rounds & this was her very first shooting experience ever. I reckon most folks would probably use a 22lr pistol or rifle for their daughters first shot but, I'm super proud of her for wanting to shoot the 27-2, as a matter of fact, she claimed that gun the moment she saw it, lol. I gave her her choice between it and the S Prefix 27-2 3.5" barrel version. She loved that Full Target Model! Lol
At any rate, I realize it's probably too big for her but, what the hell? I think it's fantastic that she loves that gun & wants to shoot it. Now, this by no means will be her only gun. I'm also gonna give her my '77 Model 19-3 snubby as well as a nice semi auto gun
Enough about that, as you can see below, I was just uper happy she wad dead on outt the box
