The riot virus has now spread to Indianapolis IN. Right downtown
in the Indy Circle area. Lots of broken store windows and fires
in the streets. Lots of no nonsense cops too. Looks like lots of
arrests. I didn't think Indy's Mayor would have the cops stand
by and watch the city get destroyed like some other cities. Good
for him!
 
Here in Hammond Indiana (pop. 85,000) we had a "protest" yesterday SAT 5/30. Looks like a couple thousand. The well behaved protest began in the morning and by noon had grown in size and attitude. The mob headed for I 80/94 to shut it down. To our Mayors credit and the efforts of our PD and county Sheriff's Police the morons were halted. 40 of them were arrested and it was found they were ages 24-40 and came here from all over the country for the fun. It's obvious the mindless mobs are being whipped up into violence by possibly paid outside instigators.
Todays another day we'll see what happens. I'm 2 miles from yesterdays protest. I think I'm O.k. here but I live across the street from Purdue and the large campus and parking lot is perfect for a marshaling area for morons to collect prior to taking action.

Had two protests in Greenville SC yesterday. A peaceful family protest in the morning and a slightly rowdy evening protest, where a woman climbed on the hood of a police car, and pepper balls were shot by the PD. Another protest is planned this evening. Fingers crossed.

It is getting like the joke about a hockey game and a fight.

There was a riot going on complete with rampant looting and arson and a very few people began to protest injustice peacefully.
 
Pretty much every suburb of Chicago has been effected by riots/looting today. The scumbags are hitting all the malls and shopping areas. Suburbs have no coordinated plan to deal with something of this scale. In Chicagos downtown last night the ***'s used rented box trucks to load up with loot and move store to store. These freaks have not one iota of conscience in the lot of them.
Unless Federal, State and local officials decide deadly force is the only way to bring this to halt, this BS aint gonna stop. The whole problem stems from placating these *******s instead of teaching them how to live in a civilized society.

The Mayor of Indy issued a curfew from 8 PM Sunday to 6 AM Monday for the whole county.

I live within a mile of I-465 (the freeway encircling Indy) and I can still hear a lot of traffic on the Interstate but only a few cars on a nearby major street.

Antifa protested again this afternoon and on the 6 PM local News, IMPD was trying to run them out. Hope it's quiet tonight.
 
The only comment I can make without getting in trouble is "stay out of my yard". Ya'll stay safe.
 
In Anderson, IN, the Walmart has been closed and pallets of product staged in front of all doors/windows. The Payless stores (grocery stores) and Meijer are also closing. There were protestors downtown last night but I haven't heard whether any looting/damage to stores. Don't know why National Guard isn't mobilized to help with this situation. My wife and I have been staying close to home since this nonsense started. Hope no one is stupid enough to try and break in our house, my 2 beagles and Smith & Wesson are standing watch. Someone needs to stop all this stupidity!! :-(
 
We have seen all of this before. It is shameful that this type of thing happens, but the city officials and municipalities are in a no win situation. If you aggressively enforce the law you end up accused of an ulterior motive, if you don't, you get pressure for not protecting the community and businesses property. So, the violence and looting happens then there is a justification for the adverse actions taken by local LE. Those interested in breaking the law know this and exploit the situation. I think that the way to put a stop to it is to attack it like they did the mob with the RICO statutes. The FBI needs to arrest individuals who are guilty of class H felonies and prosecute them to the fullest extent. If they are part of a larger organized effort then we need laws that allow us to charge and prosecute the organizers the same as those who engage in the actual criminal act. I know this may sound like a pie in the sky idea, but we are trying to treat the symptoms not the disease.
 
Appeasement, admission of guilt, and acceptance of responsibility for
the criminal behavior of the poor "downtrodden" segment of society that
commits most of the criminal acts has been US policy for many
years. I guess this, along with pleading, was supposed to placate them
and persuade them to behave in a civilized manner. Doesn't seem to
be working very well. Might be time for a new strategy.
 
Fort Wayne started to get nasty Friday night but police used tear gas and rubber bullets and it broke up fairly quick after that. The rest of the weekend still had protests but they were fairly quiet. Locals came in and cleaned up the streets after the protesters left.

National Guard shooting in Louisville.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead following a shooting on 26th and Broadway by Dino's Food Mart in the Russell neighborhood.

LMPD Chief Steve Conrad says police and the National Guard were called to Dino's Food Mart at around 12:00 a.m. to help clear a large crowd that had gathered in the parking lot. Officers were met with gunfire while clearing the lot, according to Conrad. Both LMPD and the National Guard returned fire. One man was pronounced dead at the scene.

It's kinda strange how people aren't talking about the pandemic as much because this is on all the news. I'm afraid this is going to hit us all in the wallet because businesses will need to raise prices to make up for the damage and stolen merchandise and insurance rates will go up a lot. I think there are already stipulations in many policies that don't cover acts of domestic terrorism so all the damage will indirectly be paid for by you and me.

According to IMPD Cops I spoke to today that where downtown all weekend.

1. Almost all had backpacks with bottles of water, milk and vinegar to off set the effects of tear gas and pepper spray.

2. Most had the tools that FD's & EMTs use to break windows in cars

3. ALL had either an app on their phones or a programmed number to "Control" that would alert them when and where to move to.

4. Protesters had their own medics on site and had their phone numbers on speed dial.

5. ALL had Bail bondsmen's phone numbers written on their arms in magic marker to call when in jail (because their phones would have been taken by Police) which where "prepaid" by ?????(Soros)????

6. NONE of this is on the media. It wouldn't jive with their agenda. Just ask a Cop, they'll tell ya what's goin' on.
