I will be in Biloxi MS. on the 6th, 7th and 8th of May. Is there anything that I don't want to miss while I there? Please give me your suggestions about Biloxi. Thanks

If your an ol'Southern boy be sure to visit Beauvoir, the last home of Confederate President Jefferson Davis. It has been restored since Hurricane Katrina.

Yes we have plans to vist Beauvoir for sure. Are there any unique gun shops, restaurants, any place unique in general? Thanks

As far as gun shops, Dad's Super Pawn on Hwy 49 in Gulfport is the place to go. Prices are decent, huge selection. They even have a website: Dads Super pawn
I'll be on the coast for business for the next couple of days and I always try to stop in and see what's new.

All the casinos are OK..our favorite in Biloxi is the Palace Casino. The only NON-SMOKING casino I have ever been in and the atmosphere is NICE.

All the casinos have good food at reasonable prices.

Might suggest a trip out to Ship Island if you have the time.

I think they have the old maritime museum up and operating and a trip there is a trip back in time to the old shrimp and oyster days.

LIving here, we tend to take things for granted...give me a clue as to what your interests (Other than S&W) are and I will see what I can come up with.

EDIT...I should have said that if you can arrange the time by all means go over to Stennis Space Center, almost in Louisiana, and visit the Space Museum Exhibit there. You will have to go Mon-Fri during normal work hours.....they are closed on week-ends.

This center used to test all rocket engines for the space craft BEFORE they were sent on over to Canaveral and launched....it is quite a place for space buffs.

Good Luck, God Bless

I think their is a couple hour shrimp boat ride you can get next door to the Hard Rock Casino. Go in the Beau Rivage Casino and look around. It's like Vegas. You can always walk the beach and dip your toes in the Gulf. The oil is all gone.

Stop by the Biloxi Visitor Bureau, right across from the Light House. The got all sorts of pamplets, etc. on what to do and see down here.

You can't miss the Lighthouse....it is in the middle of Highway 90 in Biloxi.

The Hard rock Casino is a huge musem of rock and roll memorabilla with costumes and instruments just all kinds of interesting displays to see. The food is good there also.

Many the time we have wandered around looking at the free rock and roll displays, had lunch and never went into the casino... I tend to find losing money to a machine booooring.
