Inforce APLc Universal

Anyone have this on a 9/40 compact? Not 2.0. I emailed inforce and googled but seems like noone has this set up. Just wondering if the barrel sits flush with the light.

I believe it sits flush with the 2.0 ehich has a 4"barrel. It would not sit flush with a gen 1 that has a 3.5" barrel.

I run this setup on my 2.0 compact and it is just a hair shorter than the barrel. (Awesome btw...) I tried it on my 1.0 and it does not sit flush.

No problem. I tried to get the best angle to show how they aren't quite flush, but pretty darn close.

How do you operate this light? Won't it turn off when you have to shoot?

One quick click turns it on. If you hold the switch, it is on until you release it. Very simple.

Could you send a pic of the 1.0? I have a 40c and want to get a light but not if its gonna be past the barrel. I know the viridian C5L works but im not spending that much on a light/laser when I only need a light. I went on inforce's website and downloaded the specs for this light and was thinking if I filed down the front trigger guard the aplc might fit.

I have a Viridian CTL on my gen1 9c. It is the light, without a laser. I bought it for just over a hundred dollars.

I too was looking for a light that wouldn't extend past the end of the barrel. If the APLc fit this criteria, I would replace my CTL with it as, I have fs APL on my 2.0 9mm 4.25. It is ever so slightly longer than the barrel on my 2.0 fs.
