Just Came Back from my LGS, they have a Model 29-2 Nickel Plated,
No Box, Asking $1,050.00
If i am measuring correctly, it 6 in.
Serial Number is N664958
any information would help, if i would be over paying?

If i get this 29-2, pictures will follow.

I'm thinking in that serial number range, you are looking at a 6-1/2" barrel.

$1050 is not a bad price, even without the box, case, tools, etc. (not important unless you are a collector, or concerned about resale considerations by others).

The caveat here is that all else should be in order; i.e. proper condition and all original equipment onboard (TT, TH, and correct TS, and sights). No magnaport!

All depends on condition. It sounds like a favorable price, unless the condition is just "good" or less.

That's a beauty! The book says 1979-1980 vintage. I have one just like it, but 8 3/8" barrel.
