I've been looking for a clip IWB for my J-Frame. It will be primarily used for appendix carry. I just want something that can quickly come on and off. Any input to help me make a decision would be appreciated. Thanks!

He has a similar design..the offfset clip reduces bulk in the pants...and he's a member here...

I have a cheezy Galati Int'l clip holster that I've been using for years. It's not nearly as nice as the ones shown above, but works nice enough that I have no immmediate plans to replace it since I seldom carry that way. I got it from Cheaper than Dirt about ten years ago. If you're looking for a cheap holster to get you by until a nice on shows up, that will be the ticket. One thing to make sure of, is that you have a bobbed hammer, an internal hammer, or a body shield on the holster to cover the hammer. A hammer in your belly will drive you nuts more than a paper cut.

I use both an Active Pro Gear and a Galco. Both are j-hooks; the APG is a composite material...Galco is leather.

I actually prefer the APG holster as it is very concealable and particularly useful in hot weather.

Am traveling and cannot check the model number on the Galco but the APG is 11-42.

Be safe.

I've got a J-frame cover-up coming from Tucker Gunleather in Tx,I've used FIST and Bell Charter Oak.
I would recommend any of the above.

I actually have a new ISP-DD on the shelf (undyed horsehide as shown) right hand for a 2 inch J-frame. If you're interested, shoot me an email.

Wow..a response from the master himself. If you don't take it I will as a back up rig!

Hi Matt..Merry Christmas! I owe you a call...so take that as a threat...

Wow! I just sent you an e-mail! Thank you very much! I'd be a fool not to jump on this one.

Yes David you do owe me a call! In the meantime, Merry Christmas to you, Tam and your darling daughter!

Fred, I'll be responding to your email.

The great thing about this rig is that it is very rigid but also very thin..it disappears even with appendix carry. You will love it. Merry Early Christmas!

Agree on the sideguard. I have one I bought used from a member on this site and it's great.

I just got my ISP-DD in the mail this morning and have been wearing it for most of my day. Visually, this holster is stunning in person. (Sorry sipowicz, don't mean to knock your photography skills.) It's so simple in it's design but elegant in it's execution. It's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Matt and Gina!

Pretty nice ain't it? And since you own one, you should know the history of it....do you know who's initials the DD stand for?
