I installed the Apex M&P Shield Action Enhancement Trigger that I got for Christmas last night.
I have all the other Apex Shield goodies in this pistol as well.
I'm not exactly sure what happened, but when I first got the pistol assembled and tried the trigger, I had to use a little more force to get the trigger to break. Reset was extremely short and a pleasure to feel. I field stripped the pistol and had a look inside. All looked fine so I assembled it and tried again. As I cycled the action the problem started to fade. Now, the trigger functions as I expected.
I think there was a little polymer flash on the frame that cleared as I cycled the action.
Over travel after the trigger breaks is minimal and reset is just a couple of millimeters. Less reset travel than my .40c FSS.
I hope to get to the range to try this baby out. I have about 500 more Federal 180 grain HST rounds left from the case I bought and I'll see how this .40 Shield holds up.
I expect no issues.
