Instant Email notification???

I joined this site 2 months ago and got just a couple email instant notifications. There have been none since. I am not receiving any thread email notifications at all, only the Ampersand.

I don't know how a site can continue without it's members being notified of thread feed back. It excludes us/you from participating in any thread. All my user CP settings are good.

Basically my experience.......Only notifications I have had were a response to a for sale inquiry.

The 1911 site is baffling to me too.......

Mysteriously??? after posting this question, I got three instant notifications for the first time in 2 months. Hmm, I wonder how that happened? It's like someone suddenly enabled me? Before this, I have had to go to this website, look up a thread, click on it, just to see the progress and comments of other posters/participants (over and over again). Somethings not right here? Needs to be 'Investigated'. We'll see if it keeps working???

Go to user cp or whatever they call it and look up subscriptions and then change it to email notifications

Mine was doing that too, so I set it to email once a day. Its been doing that just fine.

Well, I got 2 more today and I haven't changed any of my CP user controls. I did initially set them all up to receive emails. They started 2 months ago, stopped for 2 months, then started again yesterday without rime or reason. Every other forum I've been on has never had such a problem. Very strange indeed?
