interesting 45!!

this 6 inch barrel pc45 is currently being auctioned at another European country. i think they say that it shoots 200 gr swc. its at 89 bids and a bit above 1700 dollars, 4 days to go. i do not know if its factory or custom engraved, but i thought you would enjoy the picture.

I would guess that what you show here is an 845 that someone added a Compensator to, and it still a 5-inch pistol and not 6-inch.

It's neat, I hope someone can offer some clues as to it's origin.

Cool variation/modification of a 845!

The serial reminded me of a post related to that range of numbers. Some highlights from that post:

I have a S&W PC845 Target Champion serial number WPC07XX. I had it lettered and according to Roy Jinks it was shipped from the factory on July 12, 1999 to Bonanza International Inc., Ocala, Florida. This group of model 845 was produced in the serial number range WPC0001 to WPC1161

The performance center has almost always had it's own prefix's with some variation of PC, but I think they're running out of combos. I could see "WPC" for Wischo Performance Center but it probably was used on more than just the 845 model.

"What is "Wischo": Wischo was the German Arms Distributor for S&W.

Looking for any information on the S&W PC 845 Target Champion Wischo of Germany. The product code is 170038 serial number WPC0xxx
