interesting brit 303

went to the local(lex,ky)funshow yesterday,saw more blackplastic than i thought existed in the world! saw some nice but overpriced smiths(750 for a victory almost in the white)but the prize of the show was a 303 brit,not sure if it was a mk 3 or 4, it was wrapped up in brown paper so i couldn't make out what model it was, for only 9000.00!wish i had taken more money with me

I've seen unissued Brit sniper rifles in their fitted leather case with all the goodies for 1/3 of that.

If it was $900 for a No.4 Mk2 in the wrap I would still pass. They fetch $650-750 on BrokeGunner.

If it was $9k then the seller is delusional. I would not pay that for a No.4 Mk1T in the wrap, not that any exist AFAIK.

In the wrap is usually No4 MK2. As LE said, price too high.

the guy thought his stuff was the best in the show,he even had an old C&H reloading press he wanted 500.00 for.the one really odd thing i did see at the show were the amish,have seen them at the last how there too

My lgs has more used black plastic handguns than you would think. What are they being traded in for? Are the plastic handguns being constantly being traded in a growing trend in the future? Shoot a few times and trade it in. Or the search for the perfect one like the holy trail it will never end.

Military surplus guns was once my game. But the higher prices drove me along with my new grandson to collect 22cal guns for him. The s&w k22 drove me to look at other s&w revolvers. It's like owning a piece of history like the military surplus guns.
