Have a 32 Reg Police from 1926 that is in very fine condition. Just found another one in the same condition that is same s/n but one ends in 6 the other in 8 (2 apart). The first shipped to a PD, don't know about the second yet. Planning on lettering both. Think the pair is worth more than each individually?

If they were both purchased by a PD, or owned by a prominent individual, they might be worth more as a pair. Otherwise, I suspect not.

Photos of both together would be nice. :)

Plus, I may pay a few dollars more for that je ne sais quoi neat factor, but I would have to want to own two, so it's pretty much a wash. Letter content will tell if there is any premium to be realized.

I have a matched pair of 4.5” Registered Magnums with consecutive registration numbers (and close but not consecutive serial numbers) that letter as being shipped together as a special selected pair…..and I can’t even answer your question about them. In fact I’m not sure that the two of them are even worth double of what only one of them is worth. I would never separate them regardless of the perceived value, but I imagine that selling two Reg Mags at one time greatly reduces the number of prospective buyers.

I am aware of two auction companies that list consecutive numbered firearms separately. They don’t think it is a big deal.
