This is the first one I've seen like this. It was published in June of 1941 and mailed in October of 1943. The statement of "Post War Orders Now Accepted was written at least a year before D Day.

Here's a link in case the photo is hard to read: Page 1

Here's the text:

Post War Orders Now Accepted

Athough it makes it impossible for us to serve our friends and customers of the handgun world today, we are proud that the U. S. Government has called on us for our entire output to help win the war. For the duration we have to say goodby to those who shoot for sport, but we look forward to the day when we can again supply our famous products for normal sale.
The prices quoted in this circular are as of June 1, 1941 and obviously changing conditions may force us to make revisions when we return to peacetime production. However, we will be glad to accept orders now for earliest possible delivery after the war at prices prevailing on the date of shipment.

All orders will be reviewed with our customers for confirmation before shipment, and we plan to follow our traditional policy of "First Come - First Served" in filling post-war orders - though naturally we cannot guarantee priority in cases of partial cancellations or changes in orders when delivery becomes possible.

Very nice. I have that one, but did not know when it was mailed. In addition I have this one. Also from 1941.

This particular circular was mailed at the request of a customer in 1943. I assume they kept them around from the time they were originally mailed in 1941 and used them throughout the war.

I am jealous of your catalog - that has to be a rare one.

Think you are right. Once the war started they were too busy to make circulars or catalogs. Have not seen any dated in the wartime years except for 1941. Plus they did not have any guns to sell.
