Another gun related forum went down a few minutes ago. Earlier it was BrokeGunner and a vendor's site also went South. Sheer volume or that Anonymous hacking group?

Sheer volume plain and simple. With a few exceptions most forms are small operations capable of handling few thousand people at once. Given there are exceptions to the rule such as this sight. Suddenly we are seeing 10's of thousands of people trying to view them at once

I can get back on that Forum today and looking at the posting times nobody else saw the outage. Looks like it was a DNS/routing problem with my ISP. It has happened before so I'll take my tinfoil hat off now.
