My home, oh , home... 5 very young little girls have taken over (as section of) the house for a birthday slumber party for my 4yr old grand-daughter. The noise!!!

Ah yes, the dreaded slumber party. All I can suggest is lots of games involving physical exertion. If you wear them out, they might go to sleep by two or three AM.

My daughter had her thirteenth birthday party here with six of her friends. I left for the range before her and her mother were even up. I went to a "CMP John C. Garand M1" match. Cold with snow on the ground but sunny. Had a great time and took a silver medal with a 275-2X ( my personal best).
Twelve M1's going off at once rapid fire and likely still quieter and more peaceful than my house today. John
