Does anyone do it?
My wife bought one and likes it. I’d like to try it but I’m afraid of hurling on the carpet.
Are my fears baseless?

My wife also uses one and it gives her some short term relief from back pain. I tried it for a damaged shoulder I have. No dice.

A friend of mine bought one at a yard sale for 5 bucks, he likes it.

I have one and it works great when my back needs to stretch and relax. I was told to use it in short periods of time as the gravity makes your blood mostly go to your head. I use it for several minutes, get off and stretch and then use it again for several minutes.

I had to look up what inversion therapy is.

Sounds like a euphemism for torture. They did that in earlier centuries.

Probably worked; especially if someone lights a fire under your head, you're going to forget about any back pain really quick ...

When I was riding a desk, I went to the chiropractor on a regular basis. I started using an inversion table, and my visits dropped dramatically. Back working the streets, and the pressures of the duty belt & bad car seats quickly had me in pain again. I spend a little time upside down and can usually abate the pain.

They are NOT a cure, but what is? I usually hang at about an 80* angle; I can roll and stretch as well as do some "set ups". I usually don't spend more than 5 minutes on it without a break. I may use that time to stretch somemore or some other exercises.

All I say is it helps me. I rarely see my chiro now and that's usually for my neck which the inversion table does nothing for.

A firefighter friend that hurt his back on the job, and got vertabre fused, has been getting some relief upside down since the surgery more than thirty years ago.
Laying on Ice packs with his feet raised also helps.

My son was having some back pain and got an inversion table a few years ago. Results were so-so. He then bought a new rather expensive mattress and his problems went away. He's now got the table for sale.

I don't really see why you have to be upside down to stretch your spine. I can so the same thing by hanging onto a chinup bar.

I had one and it was fine but I hardly ever used it and sold it but now I'm older and kind of wished I had it back. My wife wanted a Chuck Norris total gym to help her after her back surgery so I bought her one and she absolutely loves it! I just go to the local gym and work out on the machines with fairly light weights and it stretches me out and keeps me limber.

Well I can tell u as user of one of these for 10 years ..
you will not throw up...
it does feel weird at first...
Pressure on your eyes but that will pass
it will help with multiple uses to relieve pain thru put the body ...
you have to start slow and get your body comfortable with it
I would not eat a meal and jump on it
I use it for 30 to 45 minutes at a time
But I go the full straight up and down
Mine is a professional one but ones like Teeter hangups are great
Highly effective and will help backs
Hips and shoulders....
I think most people are hesitant due to thinking they will get sick or get stuck
Try it out
You may like it
God Bless,John
