Is the CS9 really all that different than the 3913 that I have?

I am wondering if I should get a CS9.

I have a SW3913 already that I love but for some odd reason a CS9 keeps saying buy me over getting a 6906. I have a 5903TSW and the 6906 would be a good package like my Glock 19/Glock 26 combo.

Just wondering if the CS9 is really that much different than the SW3913TSW that I have.

The 3913 is my carry gun for the job right now. We are issued sigmas and if we go with something else it has to be a SW from the year 2000 list we have right now.

The 3913 has a slightly longer barrel and grip to accomodate an 8 round mag. Mechanics and operation are the same in both guns. Stick with the 3913 IMO.

The CS9 did not fit my large hands as well as the 3913. That was my primary reason for passing on it.

My 3913 does everything the CS9 does, with extra rounds and a choice in grips. My 0.02

I have and use both, the 3913 fits my hand a little better however. CS9 is a fantastic CCW gun however. Maybe both are in order for you as well.

PS. Was thinking about selling my CS9 lately in order to buy a 1911SC that has been calling my name out loud and clear. If that would help you out let me know.

Ihad a CS45 and it just didn't seem to fit my hand right. I modified a standard 4513 factory grip to fit on it, but it still didn't fit right for me. Eventually, I sold mine and use a 4513, six round version, at work.

BTW, Mark Summit Gunbroker has used CS9's for sale on his website. If you haven't dealt with him, he's one of the good guys.

Yeah that is where I got my 3913 from.

He is still trying to find some 3953s and if he got one I would take it in a heartbeat.

Just the price on a new XX13/53 is a good penny from Smith and Wesson compared to Police trade-ins.

The 3913 I got had holster wear but the pistol is true.

Also got a 5903TSW from Mark and that is a dream to shoot.
