If you are familiar with the M17-6, the -7 looks exactly the same externally with the exception for the rear sight assembly, the -7 has the later style assembly that has the rounded leading edge that is inset in to the to strap nicely.

Bullseye, what kind of grips are those on the 14-7? they look like they cover the front strap...very nice...

Mine looks just like Doublesharps',with the finger groove combats.
I was actually a bit disappointed when the clerk brought it from the back,NIB, about eight years ago.-My mind was set on a 6 inch 17.I've changed my mind about all of that,six inchers eventually came along, but never another four incher.
