Is there a cure for J-frame fever?

I'm nuts about K-frames but J-frames are the choice for carry. The 7-shot 351c is ideal for my needs, but I don't love it. The J-frame I do love is the 3" 60-4 with full underlug. Why? Because it shoots like a K-frame!

Lobster, that's just it. You CAN routinely carry a J Frame. No, they don't carry a bucket of bullet but my M-649 is almost always available.

Plus a lot of them are pretty and elegant revolvers. This is especially true of the BodyGuard model! I have seven J Frames and need to make a family photo.

NOPE

That’s the best picture I’ve seen this morning. That is nice.

Buying one is all that I needed, but I understand that one is not enough for everybody. My revolver collection is based around 357 rather than frame size.

I respect my 360J

What keeps me in line is I respect my 360J and don’t cheat on her except to take out the wife’s 60once in a while for an”function check”

The only cure is more J Frames. Just be thankful your not addicted to N frames especially older ones.

Who'd Want to?

I can't imagine anyone wanting to cure themselves of such an enjoyable fever. For an example, We are dog setting for our neighbor, for a few days, and I just came back inside from taking that dog for a long walk. We live on the edge of a woods, infested with coyotes etc. so I picked my Mod. 34, J frame, 2", and put it in my pocket, for the outing. On coming inside and opening the S&W forum, the first thread that I opened, was this thread. What better reason to have, and enjoy " The J frame fever"? Here is one that have, use, and enjoy.

J-frame fever doesn't seem to be curable, only treatable. I find that periodic small gun purchases (I- or J-frames) seem to stave off the pain, but only on a temporary basis.

Yes there is a cure. Shoot several boxes of Buffalo Bore 158grain lead swc-hp +P at the range in them. You'll find one is all you ever need.

The original post is over 9 years old and the OP seems to have sworn off forums about 5 years ago. Hope he is enjoying a happy, computer-free retirement :)

LOL! Last time out I did shoot a few cylinders full of 158gn +P fast enough for the range officwer to give me a warning but I wouldnt make it a habit. That was from my 360J.
IF LOVIN J's IS WRONG, I DON'T WANT TO BE RIGHT!
