Today, before I was even aware that the Bills had passed the State Legislature, I heard on the radio that Governor Christie had vetoed two pieces of restrictive gun legislation (smart guns and codifying justifiable need).

Is there a way to keep abreast of new laws that are in the works for New Jersey.

Thank you

Not specific, but go to Google and search on terms you think are likely to get you the result you want. Then go to the bottom of the page and you should see something like "create an alert". You have options like restrict it to news sites, etc. and they'll email you stories that match. You can set up as many variations as you like.

Trying to follow a legislature's activity is impossible without some help.

A Google search eventually came up with the NRA website for "New Jersey Gun Laws" with "New Jersey News" towards the bottom of the webpage

I have it bookmarked.

Enough of a reason to support the NRA!

I check a couple apps now and then.
Legal Heat and CCW. They are free and get updated, but how frequently I don't know.
